Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the social bond of fate as seen in The Greatest Showman movie. The problems analyzed in this study are the unique persons bond each other and the bond of fate influences Barnum. The objective theory by Abrams and the social bond theory were used by the writer to analyze this research. The data were analyzed by using qualitative research. The data were collected by watching the movie and reading the script repeatedly, then the writer interpreted the data by using social bond theory referring to attachment, commitment, involvement, and belief. This study found some following results. Lettie is a girl with beard but she is good at singing. She becomes confident because the social bond exists among the unique person and Barnum. Barnum is influenced by the bond of fate which exists among him and the unique person. This study also finds how Barnum changes his mind set while working together with the unique persons in his circus.
