Abstract
The research is about code switching in Hitam Putih Special Agnes Mo. This study discussed two main problems; types of code switching and the most dominant type of code switching. The research used a qualitative method in the analysis process. The researcher conducted observation and note taking in collecting the data. The types of the data were sentence, word and phrase which ware categorized as code switching phenomena. The analysis technique was done by collecting data, categorized data based type of code switching, coding the data and analyzing to answer problem formulation. Based on the analysis, the researcher finds three types of code switching in Hitam Putih Special Agnes Mo namely tag switching, intra-sentential code switching and inter-sentential code switching. The most dominant type of code switching is intra sentential code switching, 51. The second most dominant type is inter sentential code switching, 19 and tag code switching, 10.
