Abstract
This observation is carried out to find out the history of a local tourist spot in Central Java which is quite famous among domestic tourists but not widely known by foreign tourists, so it needs to be clearly explained to attract incoming tourists. The purpose of this observation is to find out what local tourism is in Baturraden, where is the location of the tour, how is the history of the tourist location and explains that there are beautiful tourist attractions in Central Java and to improve its management. This tourist spot is 15 km from the town of Purwokerto on the southern slope of Mount Slamet. To reach Baturraden tourist attractions, which are located in Karangmangu, Banyumas, Central Java, visitors can use private or public vehicles. Based on the observations it can be concluded that every place in Baturaden has a history. There are benefits, facilities, souvenirs, and ticket prices that attract domestic tourists or foreign tourists. Tourists are advised to always make preparations before traveling and comply with any applicable rules. Keywords: tourists, improved management, traditional events.
