Abstract
The development of tourism in Indonesia is very fast. One of the most famous tourist destinations in Indonesia is the Yogyakarta Special Region or Jogja. Known for its culture and as a center of education, Yogyakarta is also known for its rich natural charm and safe and comfortable environment. The development of tourism in Yogyakarta includes services for the convenience of visitors in terms of places to stay, eat, shop, and others. The Yogyakarta Tourism Office plays a very important role in the development of tourist destination areas, such as the construction of restaurants, hotels and others. This is one of the factors that encourages the author to explore experiences in the world of tourism and apply this knowledge by carrying out internships at the Yogyakarta Tourism Office. The results of this internship show that the author experienced some difficulties in handling some of the tasks that the apprentices received, but the author took the initiative to do work that the author understood, such as recording archives, receiving letters, and compiling SPJ documents, and other activities related to tourism .
