Abstract
ABSTRACT Meat is a food ingredient often consumed by all groups. Meat is also a frequent trigger for poisoning in Indonesia because we have a tropical climate, so it is suitable for microorganisms' growth. The making of a goat-meat freshness detection tool is expected to reduce the level of poisoning because beforehand, we can find out how fresh the meat we are going to process. This study uses an odour sensor to detect gas level in the meat, a colour sensor to determine the meat's colour level. Then the data is processed and integrated with a smartphone.
