Abstract
ABSTRACT Rice fields are vast and scattered agricultural lands in Indonesia. Rice is a food commodity. Rice is the main food commodity in Indonesia. The area of agricultural rice fields has an effect in determining the amount of yields and also foodstuffs in Indonesia. Geographical information system is intended to conduct area mapping. Therefore we need a system that can map the area of existing rice fields to help determine the yield of the harvest. This research took the location of Kebumen Regency where there are still a lot of rice fields. This research will produce a Geographical Information System for mapping rice agricultural products and data processing. The author hopes that the results of this research can be used by agencies or communities, especially in the field of agriculture to make it easier to obtain information about agricultural fields. Information about rice fields and estimated yields can be seen here. The system will be built using a website platform to make it easier to access. The technology used is the ArcGIS application, GoogleMaps API and also the website programming language. The system will be open anywhere as long as it has an internet network.
