Abstract
ABSTRACT SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta is an institution under the auspices of the PIRI Foundation. SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta has problems when teachers who are unable to attend give assignments and materials. In addition, students have problems in obtaining digital material that is in accordance with the existing curriculum. SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta still does not use information technology to support several teaching and learning activities. The purpose of implementing the e-learning information system at SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta is expected to help in the learning process and as a means of interaction between teachers and students through discussion forums. The development method used is the waterfall method, with the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and black box testing. The system created can perform data processing from the welding process, detailed explanation, teaching, making topics containing material and assignments, as well as teacher discussion forums with students. The resulting output is in the form of a teaching report and a grade report. Keywords: Information Systems, E-learning, Waterfall, PHP, MySql, Black box.
