Abstract
CV. Ghany Tour & Travel is in the field of car rental services, airplane tickets, hotel bookings, tours, study tours, Hajj & Umrah. CV. Ghany Tour & Travel is known to the public for its excellent facilities and a very strategic location. Its existence is needed by many people, especially tourists to visit tours, especially in the Yogyakarta area. In promoting its services, CV. Ghany Tour & Travel already uses web templates provided by WordPress. However, the website used does not have complete features and information according to the needs / in accordance with the transaction process that occurs, displays information that is not in accordance with existing data and the web currently used can only be used to carry out the booking process, but the booking process is not according to existing procedures. This study aims to build a Web-based car rental system equipped with an SMS gateway for CV. Ghany Tour & Travel in order to simplify and speed up transaction data processing and be able to provide notifications about rentals quickly, accurately and efficiently. The data collection methods used are literature studies, observation methods and interview methods. The implementation of this system is using CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database. The result of this research is a Web-Based Car Rental System equipped with an SMS Gateway as a problem solution to provide convenience for users in improving the performance of integrated data processing and transaction processing.
