Abstract
Geographical information system is a system that emphasizes information about areas along with information (attributes) contained in areas on the earth's surface, where the information contained therein is spatial in nature. Bantul Regency has many tourism objects, the government should provide information about tourism objects in Bantul Regency. Based on the background, the formulation of the problem is how to make a Web-Based Application of the Information System for Tourism and Hotels of Bantul Regency, so that information on tourist attractions can be accessed by the public. This study aims to provide information on the location of tourist objects that are presented clearly to the public as a tourism promotion for Bantul Regency. The observation was carried out in Bantul Regency by collecting information data about tourism in Bantul Regency. The benefit of this research is to make it easier for tourists or the public to find tourist places or locations in Bantul Regency, and also to provide road routes to the tourist sites that they want to visit. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that a Web-based Hotel and Tourism Data Collection Information System for Bantul Regency Tourism Mapping has been produced, which can help tourists get tourism information in Bantul Regency
