Abstract
Buah Hati Cilacap Integrated Islamic Elementary School is an Islamic-based private elementary school located in Cilacap Regency. So far, the data management process carried out at Buah Hati Cilacap Integrated Islamic Elementary School is still using conventional systems in the form of books and Microsoft Office so that it is less effective and efficient. This study aims to design and build a web-based academic information system for Buah Hati Cilacap Integrated Islamic Elementary School to facilitate the performance of school staff in data management, and to make it easier for other system users to obtain school academic information. The research method was carried out by collecting data using literature, observation, and interviews, while for system design using the waterfall method. The academic information system is created using the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language and uses MySQL as the database server. The results of this study are in the form of a web-based academic information system that can be accessed from anywhere via the internet and can facilitate the management of school academic data.
