Abstract
ABSTRACT In the data processing process at SMP PGRI 1 Sempor, administrative staff still use paper records, so it takes a long time to search and prepare reports. The purpose of this research is to build a web-based academic information system at SMP PGRI 1 sempor which will be used as a system tool that is currently running. The method used by the author to conduct this research is the waterfall method and system modeling using system design tools such as level diagrams, context diagrams, data flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams (ERD) and table relationships. PHP in this program is used as a programming language and MYSQL as a database. The purpose of this study is to produce a system that makes it easier for schools to improve performance in the data processing process and to provide reports needed by the school. With this system, it is hoped that it can help the school in realizing its vision of making SMP PGRI 1 Sempor a quality school. Keywords: Information Systems, Web, Academic
