ABSTRACT Domestic birds are correlated with the condition that most or all parts of their life, whether in place, food, reproduction, management and use, are regulated and carried out by humans and are specially maintained to provide results and satisfaction for those who have them. The security context is protecting domestic birds and preventing the loss of pet birds that often occur today. However, the owner's busy maintenance can reduce attention in looking after the pet bird. The aviary itself is a place where birds position themselves for comfort. Therefore, a prototype of birdcage protection with emergency notification on an Android smartphone was designed. This aviary protection system uses a vibration sensor, a laser sensor and a single camera. An aviary protection system's design results use two sensors: a vibration sensor and a laser sensor. Vibration sensor, which functions to detect shocks, allows the threat of theft to pet birds to run well where the sensor sends a notification to the smartphone when there is a shock. In the vibration sensor experiment with three conditions with eighteen trials, the accuracy rate is 88%. The laser sensor, which functions to detect suspicious movements from outside the cage, runs well with an accuracy of 80%. Meanwhile, an esp-32 cam camera that functions to monitor the bird's condition when the owner is outside the house is going well. Owners can open the camera feature in the application to remotely monitor the aviary via a video generated from the camera according to network quality.
