Abstract
ABSTRACT Genset (generator set) is a device that generates electrical energy using gasoline or diesel fuel which has various capacities. In a rental sound system, the generator is the electrical energy primary source. If the generator is not working properly or an error occurs in the distribution of loads between phases, the generator set is easily damaged. For the efficiency of the fuel used, the load between phases significantly affects power usage and efficiency. Regarding the security and monitoring system produced by the generator, it must be done optimally and efficiently. In a rental system, the generator monitoring system is carried out continuously, to get data that can be received when there is a crowd, the SMS system can be chosen as an alternative. Thus, the generator monitoring tool's design is needed so that the monitoring process can run smoothly without having to burden the performance of the generator operator.
