Abstract
ABSTRACT Assistance for Poor Students (BSM) is a government program in completing the compulsory twelve years of education which specifically aims to remove barriers for poor students with achievement to attend school by helping them to gain access to proper education services. SDN Karanganyar 02 routinely carries out selection activities every year to elect BSM recipient candidates. This selection was carried out so that the recipients of this assistance were really students who were entitled to receive it. The problem faced by the selection committee is the difficulty in determining the decision of who will be selected as a candidate for aid recipients with criteria that are subjective or uncertain quickly. Therefore, the development of this system aims to create applications that apply the Multi Objective Optimization method on the basic of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) which is a method for determining selected students based on predetermined assessment criteria. The criteria used are report card scores, student achievement, student activeness, parents 'income, parents' dependents, and house conditions. In making this system using the PHP programming language with the MySQL database. The implementation of this application is able to overcome problems in selecting prospective scholarship recipients at SDN Karanganyar 02 with 90.65% accuracy, after being tested and compared with previous determinations.
