Abstract
ABSTRAC The point of sale (pos) information system is an information system designed with needs and can be integrated with various supporting tools in order to help speed up the transaction process. For large and medium-sized companies engaged in the trade sector, in general, they will use the point of sale (post) system to support their business activities. Kedai Sparo is a trading business engaged in the culinary sector, where the problem that occurs at Kedai Sparo is that they do not have a system that can solve transaction problems. The system is still running manually using an ordinary notebook. The process of ordering food until the receipt of payment still uses manual notes. From these problems, Kedai Sparo requires a computerized system so that transaction activities are no longer carried out by manual recording and make performance more effective. The transaction process uses the Laravel Framework, the development method uses Rapid Application Development (RAD), and data storage is stored in the database to help the performance of sales transactions. The result of this research is a point of sale application that is made expected to support the existing performance in the Sparo shop.
