Abstract

ABSTRACT Restaurant is one type of business in the culinary field that is in great demand by visitors. Currently, many restaurants are mushrooming in big cities in Indonesia, one of which is Yogyakarta. Because Yogyakarta has a complete range of tourist and culinary destinations, many restaurant business people have established restaurants in the city of Yogyakarta. With the current development of information technology, everyone can process data easily so that they can produce the information we need accurately and save time and money. Currently, there are still several problems in the restaurant culinary business, namely the ordering system and financial transactions in restaurants that have not made use of digital. So there are limits on ordering and calculation of transactions. So a menu ordering application program is needed by utilizing mobile-based and web-based technology to make ordering food at restaurants easier. With the features in this application, users can make an order process using Android and the results of the order will be stored in the database server so that the order process will be sent to the kitchen and the cashier. This android-based service application has a significant time difference so that this application can save time and speed up the service process. Keywords: Restaurant, Android
