Abstract
ABSTRACT Vehicles are an important requirement to support human activities, starting from secondary needs to work needs. Motorbikes are vehicles that are most in demand by all groups because they have many benefits and the most important thing is the cost of being the most economical compared to other means of transportation. Therefore, currently many motorcycle manufacturers provide motorbike models with new types. The number of models available often makes it difficult for people to choose a vehicle according to their desired needs. This final project was created to help provide recommendations for the selection of motorbikes with consideration of price, engine capacity, fuel consumption, fuel tank capacity, engine power, and maximum speed. The vehicle selection information system is made in web-based form, using PHP and MySQL as a database. The method used to recommend motorbike selection is SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique). The SMART method was chosen because the weighted criteria calculation is not too complicated, making it easy to learn for writer and readers. Keywords: Information systems, SMART, PHP, MySQL.
