Abstract
ABSTRACT Along with technological developments, currently a system that is capable of adopting human thinking has been developed, namely an expert system. Expert systems contain specialized knowledge so that anyone can use it to solve problems. In this study, an expert system for diagnosis of diseases was made in dogs. The purpose of this study was to build an expert system to diagnose diseases in dogs with a general description, namely by displaying some questions or displaying the symptoms that are usually present in dogs when experiencing disorders and later it is hoped that after processing the system can produce conclusions. The system is designed in the form of a website using PHP programming, MySQL is used for the database. Determination of disease in an expert system is carried out through a process where the user selects several symptoms that are in accordance with what the dog is experiencing, after the data is processed in a system that has been designed in such a way that using the forward chaining method will produce a disease diagnosis in dogs. The system will display the symptoms of disease, disease in dogs. The system will display the symptoms of the disease, then the user selects the symptoms of the disease according to experience. Symptoms that are selected by the user will be adjusted to the existing rules so that the user will get a diagnosis in the form of the type of disease and the handling solution. This expert system is expected to help provide information and treatment to users if a dog is detected with a disease. Keywords: Expert Systems, Dog disease, Forward Chaining
