Abstract
ABSTRACT Alembana coffee & community is a business that is engaged in coffee and food shops. Alembana coffee & community also serves reservations for places to hold events and meetings. At Alembana coffee & community, one of the services that is in great demand by customers is the reservation of a place to hold meetings or other events, but there are obstacles when making a reservation by telephone, namely, often users do not know and cannot choose the location and shape of the table they want to order. In addition, customers often want to order food or drinks at once but are constrained because customers do not memorize what menus are available at the cafe, then there are no ties such as down payment so that the customer ensures himself to attend after the reservation. With the existing constraints, an idea emerged to deal with the obstacles that occurred. This research proposal is entitled Android-Based Place Reservation Application. The purpose of this research is to build a reservation application for alembana coffee in order to make it easier for out-of-town customers and Yogyakarta local residents to make a reservation. The method used in developing this system is the waterfall model of life circle development (SDLC) system. This application is created using the Java Script and HTML programming languages. This application uses firebase for both API and database.
