Abstract
ABSTRACT Tourism and the development of information technology in Indonesia are increasingly showing very rapid developments. This is the success of development in the tourism sector. If managed properly, abundant natural resources can be used as the potential to prosper the people and advance the Indonesian people. One of them is the potential in the tourism sector. CV. GG Tour and Travel Purwokerto is a company engaged in travel agency services that provide tour packages. So far, the system mechanism at CV.GG Tour and Travel Purwokerto is currently considered ineffective and inefficient in terms of ordering and managing data which results in a lot of poorly stored data. To solve the existing problems, an online tour package booking information system was built and designed. With the Design of a Tour Package Booking Information System Using the Telegram API, it is hoped that it can build easier interactions between related parties and potential customers and can improve marketing and expand marketing targets in the community. As a company engaged in travel services, CV.GG Tour and Travel Purwokerto plays an important role in the development of tourism at this time because it will increase other sectors such as: tourist visits in each region, increasing regional income and foreign exchange, creative economy, opening job opportunities , reduce unemployment.
