Abstract
ABSTRACT Catering ordering is an activity carried out by customers to order food packages consisting of various kinds of food provided by the catering, in this case, the party that is intended is Wahyu Catering. The food ordering process carried out by customers at Wahyu Catering still uses the manual method so that some customers complain about the conventional method because it requires more energy, time and costs. In addition, recording catering order data is still not efficient and effective. This can cause several errors when recording orders. To solve this problem, the authors created a solution, namely by building an Android-based application for catering orders. In building this application the author also uses the Android programming language and Firebase as a storage place for data related to the catering order. With this application, catering orders become more efficient and effective in carrying out catering orders and data processing. Keywords: Application, Catering, Android, Ordering
