Abstract

ABSTRACT Tulip Living Home Decor is a residential industry that is engaged in home decoration knick-knacks. This home decoration industry in the city of Yogyakarta was founded for about 2 years by Mr. Faraj Ahmad Mahfud. With the increase in customers, there will be a plan to develop several branches that require management of all operational needs and needs, especially the problem of distributing inventory items from warehouse to central and to branches to be built. In practice, Tulip has been carrying out the process of data collection by recording transaction activities in books and then reports. The recording in the book is done manually. The problem that often arises is the difficulty in accessing data between warehouse and central units such as difficulty seeing goods transactions between units. The process of distributing data in Tulip between the warehouse and the center is carried out regularly, sent via the WhatsApp application and is still in the form of .xls files, then the data is stored in the central unit. In the absence of a database that is connected between the warehouse database and the central database which is connected to each other, it causes the slow process of updating data from the warehouse to the center and vice versa. To overcome this problem Tulip requires a distributed database and one of the ways used to build a distributed database is to use multi master replication. multi master replication is a technique for copying, distributing data and database objects from one database to another physically located separately via a local network connection or the internet and all branch units can perform read (read) and write (write) operations.
