Abstract
ABSTRACT Database is a language that can be understood by query language machine. The database itself is a part of a collection of connected data that is stored together in a medium which is generally stored and accessed electronically. Query is a programming language that operates in the database field. The rapid use of query technology greatly affects especially in accessing databases, especially in terms of response time which contains quite a lot of data. Therefore, this study aims to discuss the overall response between the query view and select models using the client server model. This study uses a client server using a LAN network to connect the client and server. The data used in this research is real goods data with SQL Server Management software. The amount of data in this study amounted to 1 million rows of data records per table. Testing is done in stages with 500 thousand rows of data to 1 million rows of data. From research conducted with different hardware specifications that the results of this study are in the form of graphs with the best time optimization, namely query view.
