Abstract

ABSTRACT Human resources play a role in realizing the vision and mission of a company. The quality and morale given by employees can help the continuity of the progress of a company. This application was built for the employee appraisal process at Bakpia Wijaya 511 Yogyakarta using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method which is often known as the weighted addition method. The basic concept of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative of all attributes. The research methodology used is a waterfall which starts with problem formulation, data collection, system analysis, system design, implementation, and finally the system testing process. The final result of this research is to come up with the best alternative employee solutions by including several employee alternatives and assessments of several criteria that have been determined by the decision maker. This decision support system for selecting the best employees was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database as the database server.
