Abstract

ABSTRACT The Smart Galileo Tutoring Institute is an educational institution where the presence process has not maximized the computer in the presence of every student. Smart Galileo Tutoring Institute still conventionally uses hardcopy. This can cause paper accumulation and it is difficult to find a lot of attendance data. Therefore, to assist the operational section in conducting student attendance, an application was designed that can simplify the operational part of conducting attendance and managing attendance data. This application can also make it easier for the operational section to see recapitulation of attendance data and their information without having to look for the pile of paper so that it is effective and efficient. The type of research conducted in this study uses the waterfall model which has stages, namely the first stage of system requirements analysis (Analysis), system design (Design), program code (coding), testing (Testing) and maintenance (maintenance). This research produces a product in the form of a tutoring student presence application using a web-based code code with the CodeIgniter Framework and using the PHP language. With this system, the attendance process becomes easier because in its implementation it uses qrcode so that it can reduce human error and can help the process of recapping student attendance reports faster than before.
