Abstract
ABSTRAK Semakin tingginya kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan di setiap titik mengingat wilayah Kabupaten Brebes memiliki kondisi geografis berupa pegunungan di wilayah selatan dan laut di wilayah utara. Hal ini mengakibatkan konsekuensi peningkatan pelayan pendidikan di wilayah-wilayah yang sulit di jangkau tidak tersebar secara merata, oleh karena itu Pemerintah Kabupaten Brebes melalui dinas Pendidikan, Pemuda dan olahraga harus memberikan perhatian lebih serius melalui peningkatan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan serta berbagai alternative pendidikan yang sesuai kondisi karakteristik wilayah masing-masing, dan sebagaimana Visi Kementrian Pemuda dan Olahraga adalah sebagai berikut ini “ Terwujudnya pemuda yang berkarakter, maju dan mandiri, serta olahraga yang membudaya dan berprestasi di tingkat regional dan internasional dalam rangka mewujudkan Indonesia yang berdaulat, mandiri, dan berkepribadian belandaskan gotong royong ’’ , Dengan Hal ini maka perlunya membangun suatu wadah yang di peruntukan untuk Pemuda Kabupaten Brebes yakni Gelanggang Pemuda di harapkannya dengan membangun Gelanggang ini dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas, kebebasan berekspresi dan meningkatkan mutu kualitas sumber daya manusia. Kata Kunci : Perancangan Gelanggang Pemuda, Kabupaten Brebes, Pendekatan Green Architecture. ABSTRACT The increasing need for the community for numbers and educational infrastructure at each point of the Brebes Regency is because Brebes Regency has geographic conditions in the southern region and the sea in the northern region. This has resulted in uneven distribution of education services in areas that are difficult to access. Therefore, the Government of Brebes Regency through the Education, Youth and Sports services must give more serious attention through improving educational facilities and infrastructure as well as various alternative education in accordance with the improvement of educational facilities and infrastructure as well as various educational alternatives in accordance with the improvement of educational facilities and infrastructure as well as various alternative education according to the conditions of each region. The vision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports is as follows: "The realization of youth with character, progress and independence, as well as sports that are cultured and accomplished at regional and international levels in the context of realizing an Indonesia that is sovereign, independent, and has a personality based on mutual cooperation. `` It is necessary to build a container that is designated for Pemuda in Brebes Regency, namely the Youth Center. It is hoped that the construction of this arena can increase creativity, freedom of expression and improve the quality of human resources.
