Abstract

ABSTRACT P.T. Indo Trada Sugiron is a company engaged in the distribution of oil in Yogyakarta. So far, P.T. Indo Trada Sugiron has difficulty in determining the shortest distance to distribute its goods to various workshops in Java. This study aims to build an application to determine the shortest distance in the distribution of goods that can optimize travel time and costs. This study uses a Genetic Algorithm in calculating the shortest distance. Genetic Algorithms are used because they have optimal solution values for problems that have many possible solutions.
