Abstract
ABSTRACT The livestock sub-sector is one of the subsectors that contributes to the national economy. Beef cattle farming is one of the largest livestock sectors in Indonesia. This is illustrated by the results of the 2018 Inter-Census Agricultural Survey (SUTAS2018) that the number of livestock households in Indonesia reaches 13.56 million households. One of the problems that is often faced by breeders is livestock disease, this can cause a decrease in the level of livestock productivity. Farms that have limited access and animal health experts will experience difficulties in dealing with livestock diseases. Therefore, to deal with this problem, a system application is made that can diagnose livestock diseases and how to handle and prevent them. This web-based system development uses the waterfall model. This system uses the Certainty Factor method. The results of the system testing using 30 test data resulted in an accuracy rate of 100%. Keywords: Certainty Factor, Livestock, Expert System, Cattle
