Abstract
ABSTRACT Nutritional problems are a common problem in several developing countries, including Indonesia. The results of the Ministry of Health's Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2018 showed that 17.7% of babies in Indonesia still experience nutritional problems. This figure consisted of underfives experiencing malnutrition by 3.9% and those suffering from malnutrition by 13.8%. This encourages researchers to build an expert system that aims to help parents diagnose malnutrition in toddlers through the website. This system was built using the PHP programming language with supporting tools, namely Microsoft Visuo, Sublime Text, XAMPP and SQLyog. Calculations to diagnose symptoms use the Certainty Factor method as a calculation in the expert system. With this system, it is hoped that it can help parents to find out about malnutrition experienced by toddlers and find a solution. Keywords: Expert System, Certainty Factor, Malnutrition
