Abstract
ABSTRAK Kecenderungan masyarakat dalam penggunaan sepeda motor secara rutin, menyebabkan perlunya pemeliharaan yang mampu menjaga performansi sepeda motor tersebut. Jika motor sudah menempuh jarak waktu 1 tahun atau sudah menempuh kira kira sekitar 15.000 sampai 20.000 KM atau jika karet seal sudah mengalami kerusakan maka perlu untuk mengganti oli atau karet seal motor shockbreaker bagian depan. Kendala membuka tutup oli shock yaitu masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga memerlukan waktu 10 menit lebih dan cukup sulit, karena tingkat resiko tinggi yang dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan pada komponen lain. Oleh karena itu, untuk memperbaiki suspensi depan sepeda motor dibutuhkan alat bantu yang dapat melakukan kerja dengan efektif dan efisien, metode yang digunakan A Systematic Approach oleh Pahl and Beitz, Metode ini ada 4 teknik untuk merancang sebuah desain alat yaitu penjabaran tugas, konsep produk, bentuk produk, perancangan detail. Alat bantu pembuka shock breaker masih menggunakan tenaga manusia, hanya saja memperingan pekerjaan, sehingga waktu pengerjaan lebih cepat hanya memerlukan waktu 50 detik. Dengan spesifikasi tinggi: 13 cm, Diameter: 4,1 cm dengan menggunakan baut 12 panjang 7 cm dan 2 cm sebagai penekan dan pengunci shock dengan alat dengan cara diputar kekanan supaya bisa menekan dan mengunci shock breaker. Kata kunci: shock breaker, perancangan, alat bantu, metode systematic approach ABSTRACT The tendency of the community to use motorbikes on a regular basis has led to the need for maintenance that is able to maintain the motorbike's performance. If the motorbike has traveled 1 year or has traveled approximately 15,000 to 20,000 KM or if the rubber seal has been damaged, it is necessary to change the oil or rubber seal of the front shockbreaker motorbike. The problem with opening the shock oil cap is that it is still done manually so it takes more than 10 minutes and is quite difficult, because of the high level of risk that can cause damage to other components. Therefore, to improve the front suspension of a motorcycle, tools are needed that can work effectively and efficiently, the method used by Pahl and Beitz A Systematic Approach. In this method, there are 4 techniques for designing a tool design including task description, product concept, product form, and detailed design. The shock breaker opening tool still uses human labor, it's just that it lightens the work, so the processing time is faster, only takes 50 seconds. With a height specification: 13 cm, Diameter: 4.1 cm by using 12 bolts, 7 cm long and 2 cm long as a pressure and locking the shock with a tool by turning it to the right so that it can press and lock the shock breaker.
