Abstract
ABSTRAK UD. Afirizki Persada Kayu merupakan usaha yang bergerak dibidang furniture dengan hasil produksi berupa meja, lemari, kursi, dll. Untuk memproduksi produk diperlukan persediaan bahan baku yang baik agar tidak mengganggu proses produksi karena kekurangan bahan atau kelebihan bahan baku yang dapat membuat biaya bertambah. Karena dalam perencanaan bahan baku UD. Afirizki Persada Kayu masih menggunakan metode konvensional yang mengakibatkan tidak diketahuinya safety stock dan reorder point yang harus dilakukan. Sehingga pada penelitian ini di perlukan metode Lot Size yang tepat untuk melakukan pengadaan bahan baku salah satunya dengan menggunaka metode Silver Meal untuk mencari solusi yang paling optimal dengan mempertimbangkan biaya-biaya lain yang terkait pengadaan bahan baku sehingga mendapatkan total biaya persediaan yang minimal. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan dengan metode Silver Meal dapat diketahui bahwa safety stock UD. Afirizki Persada Kayu adalah 18,75 m3 dan reorder point sebanyak 27,03 m3 . dan dengan Silver Meal Mampu meminimalkan total biaya pemesanan bahan baku menjadi Rp. 7.520.000, biaya penyimpanan Rp.3.474.522 dan biaya persediaan Rp. 10.994.522. . Kata kunci : Safety Stock, Reorder Point, Silver Meal ABSTRACT UD. Afirizki Persada Kayu is a business that is engaged in furniture with the results of the production in the form of tables, cabinets, chairs, etc. To produce a product, a good supply of raw materials is needed so as not to interfere with the production process due to a shortage of materials or an excess of raw materials which can increase costs. Because in the planning of raw materials, UD. Afirizki Persada Kayu still uses conventional methods which result in not knowing the safety stock and reorder points that must be done. So that in this study, the right Lot Size method is needed to procure raw materials, one of which is by using the Silver Meal method to find the most optimal solution by considering other costs related to the procurement of raw materials so as to get a minimal total inventory cost. After calculating using the Silver Meal method, it can be seen that the safety stock of UD. Afirizki Persada Kayu is 18.75 m3 and a reorder point of 27.03 m3 and with the Silver Meal Able to minimize the total cost of ordering raw materials to Rp. 7,520,000, storage costs Rp. 3,474,522 and inventory costs Rp. 10,994,522.
