Abstract
RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM E-LEARNING BERBASIS WEBSITE (STUDI KASUS : SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 2 TEMPEL) Hanif Ferdin Firmawan Program Studi Teknik Informatika, Fakultas Bisnis dan Teknologi Informasi Universitas Teknologi Yogykarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : ferdinhanif25@gmail.com ABSTRACT SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tempel in Sleman Regency is a school that still uses conventional learning methods. Conventional learning methods are perceived to be less effective, because nowadays there are many people who use the internet as a medium of information. So it requires a system that can support teaching and learning activities. The system built is a web-based e-learning system, where in this system there are features for material distribution, assignments and assignment collection, quizzes, and online discussions between students and teachers. The goal to be achieved in the creation of this e-learning system is to make it easier for teachers and students to deliver and receive learning. The method used in conducting this research is waterfall, that is a method that uses the approach systematically. This method has 5 phases, namely requitements, design, implementation, integration and testing. The software used for the creation of this e-learning system is sublime as a text editor, xampp serves as a local server, localhost, and also a browser. As a result of the research, it was concluded that this system has menus and features according to the needs of the school and can be used for teaching and learning activities at home.
