Abstract
SISTEM INFORMASI PEMBELAJARAN ELEKTRONIK (E-LEARNING) BERBASIS WEB (Studi kasus: SMP N 2 Mlati) Mei Diana1, Ahmad Tri Hidayat2 Program Studi Sistem Informasi, Fakultas Sains & Teknologi Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta 1E-mail: meidiana516@gmail.com 2E-mail: ahmadth@staff.uty.ac.id ABSTRACT SMPN 2 Mlati is a school institution authorized to build students' knowledge, dignity and good morals for schools. Teachers can only provide materials, assignments, and interactions during school hours. There is no material sharing system to assist teachers in providing material when the teacher is unable to attend. This will cause problems, because students will be left behind in the material when compared to other classes. The teacher replaces it as an assignment and there is no change in the schedule. In this study, the authors design and build an electronic learning information system (e-learning) to assist the learning process between teachers and students. The process that was built started from the process of giving material, giving assignments and giving quizzes. This system can present reports related to electronic learning information systems (e-learning). The reports generated include quiz grade reports and assignment grade reports. The system also presents a recap of data for the academic year per semester, including recap data on subjects, teachers, students, students staying in class, students leaving, materials, assignments and quizzes. This research uses the waterfall method. The method used starts from the analysis phase, data collection, system design, and implementation. The programming language used in making this application is the PHP programming language with Mysql as the database. The results of this design are expected to facilitate teachers in providing materials, assignments, online quizzes, giving and collecting assignments by accessing the website so that teaching and learning activities are more effective even though these activities are carried out outside of school.
