Abstract
ABSTRACT The electrical system in the household is a basic requirement for every home owner. The available electrical system is used by homeowners to fulfill their needs to activate various electronic devices in the house. Specifically, the need for lighting using lights at night is something that is very much needed in every household to support human activities in the house. Even lighting at night is considered important even though there are no residents in the house for security reasons. Systems that operate in smart buildings can be in the form of a simple automatic control system from lights to a computer-based system, a microcontroller, or a PLC with varying levels of reliability that automatically controls the equipment inside the building. Outseal PLC is a type of PLC that can be used to control electronic equipment in home buildings that can be used both automatically and manually. In this automatic system using RTC DS3231 as a timer. From 6:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., lights can be turned on or off which aims to increase security when the house is left behind. Keywords: Electrical System, Security, PLC.
