Abstract

ABSTRACT An automated system is a collection of various tools that work into a single unit that can work independently according to the commands that have been implanted so that it can ease human work. In the security sector, one example is the LPG gas leak detection system and household fires based on the Internet of Thinks (IoT). When the system detects an LPG gas leak or fire, the system will automatically give a warning to the user through a Blynk application on the smartphone as long as the smartphone is connected to the internet. This is because the signal sent by the system uses the NodeMCU ESP8266 module as the microcontroller that can be connected, so that the data sent can reach the user even though the distance is quite far. This system consists of a flame Infrared (IR) sensor that detects a fire, a TGS2610 sensor that functions as a gas leak detector and a buzzer that functions as a sound or sound warning. After going through the testing and having been analyzed, the control via a smartphone on this electronic equipment can function according to the commands previously entered.
