Abstract
ABSTRACT The kWh meter system Automatic Meter Reading is a measuring device for measuring electrical power consumption that can automatically and real time transfer data in the form of the amount of power consumed by the customer into the PLN database using communication media. The fault of energy measurement data is a customer complaint against the power company. At PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Semarang kWh meter used on customers with a power of 197 kVA is an electronic kWh meter that is integrated with the AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) system as the reading. After monitoring the detection of electronic meter abnormalities with the AMR system, known abnormality of data caused by immeasurable energy in one phase worth 0 (null) and thus causing losses for PLN that has the impact of follow-up bills on the S2/B2 group with 197000 VA power of Rp.7.371.160.
