Abstract

WEB-BASED EVENT RENTAL SYSTEM (STUDY CASE: CV. ASMARALAYA ART PRODUCTION) SETYO NUGROHO Informatics Department, Faculty Of Science and Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta North Ringroad St., Jombor, Sleman Yogyakarta Email: setyonugroho52@gmail.com ABSTRACT CV. Asmaralaya Art Production is a business entity in rental services for event equipment such as sound systems, mixers, stage lights, et cetera. Event equipment rental system at CV. Asmaralaya Art Production is not completely computerized because data recording and processing were done by copying data into Microsoft Excel. Data compatibility sometimes incompatible between documents and actual data because data is missing or not found, and the adjusting data in documents need more time because they have to find and change to the existing physical data. Documenting the flow of data that was not appropriately recorded also caused the searching process to be hampered, which caused the reporting process to be delayed. In this study, an application for a rental system of event equipment was developed to record rented event equipment, return, and stock reports. The data for this study were obtained through several methods, including interviews, literature study, and observation. The final result of this research is expected to be a solution for previous data processing problems, be more computerized and facilitate the data processing by CV. Asmaralaya Art Production. In this study, the authors used the PHP programming language and the Mysql database to create this Web-Based Procurement Information System.
