Abstract
ABSTRACT Yakarent Car Rental Yogyakarta is a car rental company engaged in car transportation services in the Yogyakarta area and founded by Arista Bayu in 2018. It is located at Jl Regency km 1, Sawah Area, Nogotirto, Gamping District, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Yakerent Car Rental serves daily and weekly car rental. There are two rental packages, namely car rental plus driver and car rental off-key. However, in serving car orders and transactions, use the WhatsApp application to find out the availability of the car. By still using the conventional method, it is considered less effective in processing transaction payments. Based on these problems, this research builds a web-based car rental information system using the Laravel Framework, programming languages PHP, HTML, MySQL as a database, and Midtrans as a payment gateway using the SNAP method. The processed data are admin data, customer data, driver data, car data, and transaction data. The car rental system explains the available car information in detail and assists in displaying order data history, monitoring transaction status, and printing transaction reports. The results of this study are a web-based car rental system using a midtrans payment gateway to help admins monitor car rental transactions and make it easier for customers to rent cars online.
