Abstract
RISMA NUR CAHYANI Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta North Ringroad St., Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: RismaNurcahyani1302@gmail.com ABSTRACT One of the pets that is classified as easy to maintain is a cat. Nevertheless, keeping a cat in good care is not easy. The thing most often complained about by cat keepers is a skin disease. Most cats with skin conditions do not seem very sick. However, cat owners sometimes realize when their pet cat has experienced significant changes, such as hair loss, baldness, reddish skin, and even sores. This research aims to diagnose cat skin disease as a first step to applying artificial intelligence in the medical world, design and apply an expert system capable of diagnosing cat skin diseases. So the authors make an Android-based expert system application to diagnose cat skin diseases and solutions or treatment methods. The method used in this research is forward chaining, which is tracking starting from input information, and then trying to conclude. This research will produce a web-based expert system application to diagnose cat skin diseases. Keywords: Forward Chaining, Cat Skin Disease, Expert system.
