Abstract
ROSITA AFIDA Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta North Ringroad St., Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: afidarosita26@gmail.com ABSTRACT Inventory is one of the essential assets owned by a business entity. Because inventory is an asset, good controls must be exercised to maintain the inventory. Inventory has a high role for sales and buying activities to reduce bad things that might happen. The inventory management of goods used in SRC IDA stores is currently still running manually. Information usually obtained by manual means cannot be used efficiently to meet the store's needs. Given a large number of inventory management processes, a store needs a system that can help manage the inventory. One way to deal with this problem is to use an application to facilitate the data collection and reporting process. With a well-computerized information system, information can be processed more quickly, and calculations can be done more precisely. From these problems, the authors will design an inventory system design using the FIFO (First In First Out) method, which is expected to provide convenience and time efficiency in dealing with these problems.
