Abstract
ARSALAM Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta North Ringroad St., Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: launualam@gmail.com ABSTRACT Morowali is one of the regencies located in Central Sulawesi Province. The diversity of tourist attractions owned by Morowali is very stunning to tourists, ranging from beaches, mountains, and various cultures. However, information on the diversity of tourist destinations and culture is still not widely affordable. The goal that will be achieved in this research is to build a website based Morowali tourism information system. The system is built using the CodeIgniter framework with the PHP programming languages and MySQL as databases. This research resulted in a Morowali tourism information system that can display tourist information, hotel and transportation to tourist attractions, and conduct transaction process in the form of purchase of tourist tickets, hotel tickets, and transportation tickets to tourist attractions integrated with payment gateways.
