Abstract
OKTAVIANI NIKEN TAMAHARI Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta North Ringroad St., Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta Email: nikenelj24@gmail.com ABSTRACT People go to the store and look for the bag products they want; some do not find the bag they want, so they choose to search for bags online. Nevertheless, people will find it challenging to find products of good quality. Therefore, it takes a system that can provide advice to users. The purpose of this research is to help users get a suggestion from bag products that can help users to find products according to the desired quality, in addition to being able to feel the benefits in quickly accessing the products with the highest rating value, and can easily find the product information they are looking. The method that will be used in this recommendation system is item-based collaborative filtering, which is a method that provides recommendations of a product or item to the user based on the rating, rating, and popularity of the product. Hardware devices are used laptops with 4 GB ram and MySQL and PHP software as programming languages. The result of this study is an online bag store website that provides a product recommendation to users. Keywords: recommendation system, item-based, collaborative filtering.
