Abstract
The web as a breakthrough in information technology is in great demand by various parties. If the location of the gas station is unknown, the community will have difficulty finding the location of the gas station and find it difficult to find out what facilities are available at the gas station. In this final project research using Location based service (LBS). Therefore, a Web-based location-based service information system was created to search for a web-based gas station to help the public find the location of the gas station and information on facilities such as ATMs, supermarkets/minimarkets, restaurants, toilets, air pumps and prayer rooms at gas stations. In this research, a web-based gas station location based service information system will be built that allows users to find out the location of the gas station. Location based service technology is used to determine the user's location with the position of the location to be addressed. This website can display a list of gas station locations based on the closest distance. This website has 2 menus, namely the search list menu for gas stations and information on gas station facilities in the Sleman Regency area and the search menu for the nearest gas station needed by visitors based on the nearest location. The purpose of the research is to implement and build a system that can help visitors to search for locations and information. This website makes it easier for visitors to find the location of the nearest gas station as well as information about facilities. An application has been built according to the need, namely determining the location of the nearest gas station that is easily accessible, so that visitors find it easier and faster to find the location of the gas station that visitors need. Based on the questionnaire test, it showed that the respondents agreed and it was easy to understand the contents of the system that had been created.
