Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness and contribution of Regional Original Income (PAD) sourced from local taxes, regional levies, the results of separated regional wealth management and other legitimate PAD in Tanjungpinang City from 2016 to 2020. The data obtained sourced from the Realization Report of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) of Tanjungpinang City from 2016 to 2020. This research method uses a descriptive method. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the level of effectiveness of PAD in Tanjungpinang City as a whole is considered very effective because the percentage of effectiveness shown every year always exceeds 100%. For the effectiveness level of each PAD component shown to have an effectiveness level that is categorized as good, however, there are still some years that have a percentage of less than 100%. In addition, the contribution of PAD to the total regional income of Tanjungpinang City has a percentage figure of less than 20% and is considered less contributing to regional income. Finally, for the contribution of the PAD component to the total PAD of Tanjungpinang City as a whole, local taxes are a very good sector in contributing the highest to PAD because it has a percentage of more than 50%.
