Abstract
This writing aims to find out the payroll system and procedures for employees along with related functions and what documents are used in the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency of Kulon Progo Regency. The procedure used is computer-based data management and the payroll process is supported by using a government application, namely the Central Employee Salary (GPP) application. The parties involved in the payroll system and procedures are the Personnel Subdivision, Salary Treasurer, and the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN). The documents used are supporting documents for salary changes, Payment Orders (SPM) and Funds Disbursement Orders (SP2D). The results of this Work Practice Report indicate that the implementation of the employee payroll system and procedures implemented at the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency of Kulon Progo Regency is good in accordance with the procedures set by the government. However, the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency of Kulon Progo Regency must tighten the parts involved and always back up employee data to prevent errors during the salary calculation process. All related sections must carry out their duties and authorities according to their functions so that salary payments can run smoothly and well.
