Abstract
This research was conducted at PT. ABC which is a client of KJA Eko Darmawan. PT. ABC conducts business activities by engaging in consulting and construction design specializing in the geotechnical field, which since the company was founded has not yet had financial reports that comply with standards. The purpose of writing this report is to design an accounting record system and to explain the preparation of the financial statements of PT. ABC conducted by KJA Eko Darmawan. The data used are transactions from January 1 to January 31, 2020. The data is processed using the Microsoft Excel application. Preparation of the financial statements of PT. ABC by KJA Eko Darmawan starts from collecting financial data, identifying and classifying transactions, designing a list of accounts and journals, and recording transactions through the accounting cycle which will eventually produce output in the form of financial statements. The preparation of financial reports by KJA Eko Darmawan is guided by Financial Accounting Standards, in this case for the case of PT. ABC is guided by the Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP). The resulting financial statements consist of an income statement, a statement of financial position, a statement of changes in equity, a cash flow statement, and notes to the financial statements.
