Abstract
WEBSITE-BASED INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR ADMISSION OF NEW STUDENTS IN SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 2 TEMPEL Syahrizan Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: Nito.syahrizan@gmail.com ABSTRACT New student registration activities at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tempel are currently still carried out conventionally where during the registration process prospective students come directly to SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tempel by bringing pre-determined requirements. The system that will be built is a website-based new admissions information system that contains features such as new student data collection, announcement of student selection results, class data collection, registration date, reports of all enrolled students, student reports received. The purpose of this study is to solve problems in the registration process at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tempel, assist the new student registration committee in processing data such as prospective student data and data from selection results more easily, quickly and minimize errors in data entry. The method used in this research starts from the method of data collection, analysis, design, programming and system testing. While the software used is a DBMS (Data Base Management System) which is used as a data storage medium is MySql, the programming language PHP, CSS, JavaScript and HTML. The conclusion of the system that will be built is an application to register prospective students who register, announcement of student selection results, class data collection, registration date, reports of all registered students, and student reports received.
