Abstract
CONTRACTOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM AT PT. SIDIK CIPTA RASA Faculty of Science & Technology, University of Technology Yogyakarta M.Yusuf, Ahmad Tri Hidayat, S.Kom.,M.Kom. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : yuzufaax @gmail.com, ahmad.tri.h@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT In a contracting company, project development is a part of the business process which sometimes has problems in providing data and monitoring the process. PT. Sidik Cipta Rasa requires a system that can assist in the management of schedules, tools and documents to improve existing information systems. So the researchers proposed the creation of a Project Management Information System at PT. Sidik Cipta Rasa is web-based and uses PHP MySql as a database. An information system can be defined as a system within an organization, a combination of people, facilities, technology, media, procedures and controls aimed at obtaining important communication lines and providing an information basis for decision making. Management is the achievement of organizational goals effectively and efficiently. Projects are defined as temporary undertakings with specific objectives with a definite timeline for implementation. The method used in the development of this system is the prototype method. This method is by observing the system's running life cycle which is based on the concept of a working model. The system design phase uses a process design method that describes context diagrams and system data flow diagrams, program interface design as a liaison between the user and the database, the system creation phase, system implementation and system maintenance. The results of this information system design are expected to facilitate the company in monitoring ongoing project activities. Keywords: Information System, Management, Project
