Abstract
Design and Build a Web-Based Building Material Sales Information System Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Eka Saputra, Afwan Anggara M.Cs Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : eka228454@gmail.com, ABSTRACT The information system application is a system that functions in carrying out activities related to the presentation of data used by government and private agencies, one of which is sales activities. Sales is one of the important elements in a business entity engaged in trading. Sales aim to achieve sales volume, try to get a certain profit, and support the company's growth. Based on the identification and analysis of problems during research at CV Siti Agung, researchers found problems such as administrative systems, transactions and sales reports that were still written in the sales book to be less effective. The design of information system applications in managing transaction data, administrative systems, and sales reports that are right will produce data with high accuracy that is used as information, besides that researchers want to design information systems that can facilitate CV Siti Agung in product sales. By taking advantage of technological advances that are currently developing, researchers use the SublimeText application with the Programming Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language and MySQL as the database.
