Abstract

Design and Build a Web -Based Car Rental Information System (Case Study: Bharatayudha Tour & Transport) Alif Pranoto, Saucha Diwandari S.Kom., M.Eng Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : alifpranoto096@gmail.com, saucha.diwandari@staff.uty.ac.id , ABSTRACT Bharatayudha Tour & Transport is a company engaged in car rental services. The rental system currently used by the company is a manual or conventional system, namely a system of recording in books. Problems like this often result in excessive accumulation of report books, so that data retrieval becomes slow. Other problems also occur when placing an order using telephone or WhatsApp which can lead to misunderstandings in communication between customers and the company. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to build a car rental information system in managing vehicle loan data, vehicle return data and payment data so that it can make it easier for companies to process car rental data. The method used to design and build a system is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). The result of this system is that it helps admins to enter new vehicle data, enter driver data, and know payment transactions. Makes it easy for owners to view vehicle booking reports. Helping customers to rent vehicles online, making it easier to see the types of vehicles available at Bharatayudha Tour & Transport, and making it easier for customers to make payment transactions using a payment gateway.
